Ocean Dunes is a community consisting of 196 condos/townhouses situated in Kure Beach, North Carolina (the Cape Fear area in Southeastern NC). We are located at the southern end of Pleasure Island, next to Historic Fort Fisher. We have nearly a mile of beachfront with extensive grounds. Amenities include three outdoor pools, a children's playground, tennis courts, a basketball court and a shuffleboard court. Our recreation center has an indoor pool, whirlpool/spa, gym, saunas, and showers, as well as an owners' lounge/meeting room with large-screen TV (available for rent). We are 2 miles from downtown Kure Beach and 5 miles from Carolina Beach and shopping/attractions. Nearby are Historic Fort Fisher, the North Carolina Aquarium, Kure Beach Pier, Carolina Beach boardwalk and rides, Carolina Beach State Park, the Fort Fisher-Southport ferry and Fort Fisher State Recreation Area.

Ocean Dunes survived Hurricane Florence, but we are still assessing some damage to carports and driveways on the ocean-side buildings. The Snows Cut bridge to the island is open 6 AM- 8 PM to everyone, but they request that only residents and businesses come over for now. A curfew is still in effect from 8 PM to 6 AM.
